Lovely Days
With Yaling taken care of, Edrick had everything in order within his residence. This did not leave him with much to do, as he had basically completed all the quests the system could offer in the area. There was no one else he intended to add to his residence, and all plans that he had either required something out of his control or could simply not be put in place at the moment…
He would just train, visit his two noble wives, and read books for most of his days.
Right now, he was wearing the Clear-Sighted Glasses while reading some old book–Supposedly a condensed mesh of everything the author had known about any topic.
The real challenge was that it was written in an old language that was no longer in use today. However, it was often found in ancient ruins throughout the continent, so it was important to know how to read it.
While he was doing that, he was sitting on his armchair in the living room with Hui on his lap. She was resting her head against his shoulder and reading alongside him.
They would often read together, and since Anoteros was not busy with anything, the fourth activity he would partake in was to simply spend some time with his wives individually.
Although some of the activities overlapped a bit depending on who he was with…
Fanqia liked to take naps with her husband, be it in the residence, whilst dipping in a pond in the woods behind the property, or while just sunbathing in the garden… In general, Fanqia enjoyed clinging to him affectionately and showing what she had made using her newly acquired abilities, so she could get praised.
His first wife really liked to get praised.
Linmin was getting more and more into cooking. It was to the point that one of his favourite activities became looking for new recipes and making them for Edrick to test. He would even take his husband to the market to get the ingredients together.
On these ventures, it became pretty obvious that most people were not attentive enough to realise that Linmin was a Foppoof and not a woman... All the stall owners would just call him ‘Miss’.
One time, some random guy even tried to hit on him.
A grave mistake that he surely wouldn’t commit again, due to having lost over fifty per cent of his teeth now.
Some might think that it was a bit over the top, but it was Edrick’s duty to defend the honour of his wives… And besides, he did that random guy a favour–Otherwise, he probably would have gotten chopped up into pieces. Linmin always carried his Dao around, and it was a wife’s duty to show no one other than their husband could do stuff like that.
Though seeing Anoteros get violent definitely excited Linmin, as they ended up getting busy in a back alley only a few minutes afterwards…
Edrick would have taken note that enacting violence turned Linmin on, but he was already well aware that this would have had the same effect on all of his wives.
When they didn’t have quiet reading sessions, Edrick and Hui would be scouring around for some new books... Though libraries reminded her of the beginning of their relationship, and thus, their little ventures would often take a turn, as they nearly always ended up making out behind some bookshelves…
Luxuli loved to go on walks, something they would often do together when they had time... They usually went to marketplaces within the city, or sometimes even outside of it. There, Luxuli would use her special eyes to analyse the goods.
They had a lot of fun, especially following the return from the secret realm, as they busted a bunch of sellers who tried to make some of their goods pass off as superior quality coming from the realm, when they were really just selling prettied-up resources that anyone could find.
Of course, Luxuli also attracted some attention, not just because she was beautiful and a delight for the eyes, but also because she was a demon. Although her horns had yet to grow back to normal, they were still visible, not to mention her tail, which was constantly swinging around.
Leynlornd was a kingdom mostly inhabited by humans, and a single species of human at that, the most common kind without any special abilities.
Anything besides that was quite surprising for people. Of course, big cities like Oie saw much traffic, but when they went outside the city into smaller towns, the people were absolutely flabbergasted.
No one tried to bother her, though. So Edrick’s knuckles did not play discount dentist for his fourth wife’s sake…
As for Yin… Well, his fifth wife wasn’t too big on anything besides cultivation and training, so spending some time with her overlapped with his own training. In fact, they had begun training together every morning.
Yin was utterly fascinated by his muscles and would stare at him training with an intensity few could hope to match. The other thing she liked to do was to ‘train her durability’, being that she focused on building an indestructible body. To her, training her cultivation techniques mostly involved getting hit over and over again with as much strength as possible.
Edrick had quite a lot of strength, especially when he used his transformation into a sasquatch. However, Yin clearly showed that she had several years of advancement in the realm of cultivation, as her defences proved impossible for him to penetrate just yet.
Though that was only in terms of pure, brute force being applied in concussive damage. Other types of attacks were more efficient, and that was what she wanted to focus on. She wanted to build up resistance to them.
But of course, another activity often happened within his residence, and that was for him and his wives to turn the bedroom into an absolute mess.
Edrick was a man with impressive stamina. He could go for hours without a problem, but even for him, five lusty wives were no easy feat to take care of.
He could simply bed them one at a time throughout the day and week, but unfortunately for him, his wives seemed to very much enjoy cooperating to tire him out, and although just one more wife might not seem like much, Yin had much endurance as well.
Coupled with the fact that Luxuli seemed to be progressing in learning magic, and was beginning to unconsciously emit what she said was her ‘lustful mana’, which caused bedtime activities to grow even more hectic…
Anoteros was a busy man.
Thankfully, he had just the right idea to have his wives calm down for a little while in the future.
‘When I move my residence to my family’s territory, I’ll show how good a descendant I am…’
It was simple, really. He just needed to do what all great clans loved to do the most. Which was to reproduce like rabbits.
Normally, that should get his wives occupied enough, especially once the spawnlings were born… But until he relocated, he would have to perform his marital duties…
