Chapter 231: Protagonist (1)
He was like a radiant character, someone who could become a protagonist of his own story.
Again, Epsilon kindly smiled and waved his hand to say it was nothing. He looked up and saw the sun and the new environment that graced him.
The group had not taken their eyes off him, and so they witnessed this captivating scene, and their hearts could not help but thump in admiration.
Epsilon’s charm worked wonders, and the group easily became his admirers in such a short amount of time.
Epsilon’s attention was not on them but on feeling the sensation in his heart and how the world seemed to welcome his arrival.
There...
"I’ll reclaim what’s mine... Rise."
It was something that the desperate author herself permitted for. Of course, judging by the situation... It might not be as helpful.
What changes would he bring to this world?
He seemed to feel a malicious intention directed at him.
Two round eyes looking at him, concerned.
"Well, nothing..." Rise did not know what it was about; there was no need to overthink so much. Instead, he patted Riri’s bum. "Now, let’s take a bath! We’ll visit Daddy soon."
"Daddy?"
"Kamille. He’s your daddy."
Heh, just wait.
"Why is he, my daddy?"
Rise was genuinely enjoying this.
Rise grinned at Riri and suddenly thought of something.
He was truly enjoying it and looking forward to Kamille’s reaction. And, of course, he was also enjoying playing with his son.
Riri could not keep up with Rise’s changing expressions, but he was used to it.
Rise knew why he was anxious.
Rise honestly did not know what his reaction would be, but angry was not one of those options for certain. Riri sensed his confidence and so finally agreed.
Kamille’s fate was always dark before, but it somehow appeared blank now. Riri could not sense anything at all.
The reason he knew they would return yesterday was the occasional bout of visions, which was something he could not control.
When they did not know that they were biologically related, Kamille and Rise already emphasized to Riri not to use his ability. It was even more now.
Rise took a bath after he finished preparing Riri with his cute kid-sized suits. They were especially customized by his father. Niftan was so fond of Riri for some reason.
This was also not new, as his father always bought him gifts on every occasion; it was probably the old man’s way of showing affection.
Even after a month, he had not yet adapted to Rise suddenly not being addicted to gate raiding and so not always wearing the uniform.
"We’re visiting Riri’s dad," Rise stated, brushing his hair and chuckling when he saw his father’s reaction.
Rise laughed at him. "Of course... not. You know how he is."
At this moment, Riri spoke.
Which was a good distraction as the old man became attentive again.
Well, he was unfilial, but his son might not be.
"Epsilon..."
