Chapter 32: Damon vs Klaus!
"I am NOT asking!" Damon’s highly cold voice, filled with a strong, domineering tone echoed across the surrounding area. The gentle breeze in the surrounding area suddenly kicked up its speed, and grew fiercer and fiercer, a staunch tension filling the entire environment.
Feyola’s breath hitched and a terrifying fear filled her body, making her freeze in her place, her heart beating so hard and fast, Feyola herself could hear it. Feyola could feel her entire world spinning.
Feyola, Elanore and Klaus all felt the tyrannical aura of death and shadows covering the entire surrounding area, feeling it surrounding their body. All of them had recognized this tyrannical death aura as the one that erupted across the entire world not too long ago, and sent shivers down all of their spines.
"Master, be careful around this person. I’ve never seen or heard about such a terrifying power before even in my lengthy life. Now that we’re closer to him, the ancient power I feel in this boy even surpasses the power of the strongest Ancient Gods." A soothing, soft voice echoed from Klaus’ soul and into his mind, sending him a warning.
Klaus frowned at the warning and looked at Damon. As the time had passed, Klaus had used a potion and healed himself, returning to full power, he looked at Damon closely, with a fierce look in his eyes, recognizing who Damon was. Klaus’ family had certainly told him about Damon and his immense talent.
Similarly, Damon was also staring directly at Klaus, but not for the same reason Klaus was starting at him. Currently, Damon was looking at the System screen that had abruptly appeared in front of him.
[ Host! The boy in front of you is a Son of Fate. ].
Damon read this and then curiously inquired in his mind, " Care to explain what a Son of Fate is?"
[ Fate is a mysterious and mystical elemental that has a variety of powers, such as increasing luck and destiny.Fate Blessed are beings born with an abnormally high amount of fate. Fate Blessed usually come from affluent families as their parents have higher chances of birthing incredibly talented people. Fate Blessed persons have increased luck in finding treasures, battle and surviving precarious situations. For example, Antares and Feyola all have high fate. Son’s of Fate are beings who not only have abnormally high fate, but their fate is also artificially increased by the World’s Will. Basically, Sons of Fate are the Worlds Will’s Apostles. For example, your father was a Son of Fate. Sons of Fate aren’t evil, delusional or stupid protagonist like persons like in Villain novels in your previous world’s Villain Novels, they are just persons blessed to be luckier, more talented and more survivable among other things.]
Damon read through the entire system’s explanation, and sunk into thought. From the many novels he had read in his past life, Damon could recognize and understand many of the concepts the system explained, yet there was still many burning questions he had.
"So, if I try to kill this guy, will the World’s Will punish me for killing their Apostle?" Damon asked the system in his mind.
