Chapter 31: Damon and Feyola!
{ Sorry for the lack of Chapters last 2 days. It’s Mother’s Day weekend and also my Mother’s birthday as well, so I just had no time to write this novel while celebrating with my mother. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone reading. Chapters should be resuming more consistently from now. }
In order to find out how Feyola, Elanore and Klaus got themselves into this position, one should turn back time to a while ago. After Klaus Pendragon, the Crown Prince of the Eternal Human Empire, had saved Feyola and her maid, Elanore, the trio had went off towards the Southern Obsidian Moon Domain, with Klaus leading the way, killing any monster in their path easily with his strength.
During this time, Elanore was still very suspicious of Klaus and his intentions, and was very defensive when interacting with Klaus, only talking to him when necessary. Elanore had known thst since Feyola had run away from home, Feyola’s mother, the Elven Empress Evangeline, had sent out many persons to capture Feyola and forcefully bring her back.
However, Elanore had also know that there would be an immense amount of persons who would be trying to kidnap Feyola for their own selfish reasons. Whether those reasons be to use her as ransom, abuse her powers or something more nefarious, Elanore knew she needed to be on high alert at all time.
It was well known that although all of the races were allies on the surface due to the battle against the Abyss, all of the races were battling in secret. It was highly likely that many powerful people had sent their men to capture Feyola for themselves. Humans and Elves had a very rocky relationship, that became even more fragile after the Elven Empire entered a alliance with the Divine Demon Empire.
Klaus was the Crown Prince of the Eternal Human Empire. Although it was certainly possible that Klaus had just ran into Feyola and Elanore by complete and total luck, Elanore had a slight suspicion that Klaus had not ran into them by luck, but had planned it out. Thus, she was very cautious with her interactions with Klaus.
Time had passed for the trio as they continued onwards with their journey, Klaus slaying any enemy in their way. As time passed however, Elanore had fully healed herself and joined in on the battles as well, taking some of the pressure off of Klaus, yet she still kept her guard up permanently, even in battle.
Time passed quickly and the trio had arrived at the Sourthern Obsidian Moon Domain, entering it and beginning their battle. Similar to the battle Damon would face when he arrived, the surrounding area was the same.
The entire sky was covered in terrifying crimson red flames that released a tyrannical aura that suppressed the power of Klaus, Elanore and Feyola. Klaus’ power was suppressed the most and he could instinctively feel the tyrannical, ancient aura that permeated the entire Domain suppressing his power.
The entire ground had many cracks on it, and in between the cracks was flaming hot lava that could burn all three of them to ash. The bones of skeletons of various persons and monsters who had died challenging the domain scattered across the various platforms that weren’t infested by deadly lava. Shots of lava erupted from the ground into the skies, exploding and making the burning lava fly around everywhere.
The terrifying snow fell from the skies, and froze the atmosphere. Elanore was from the Vampire Race of Demons, and could instinctively sense things that had Mental Manipulation Capabilities, as Vampires inately had Mental Manipulation Abilities. Elanore could sense that if Klaus or Feyola were touched by the falling snowflakes, they would be tricked into thinking they were frozen, effectively giving up resistence and dying, unless powerful enough to resist the snow.
