Chapter 70: Party Time
"K-Kai? What are you doing here?" Carl asked
"What else, I’m here to save the day." He waved his hand and healed everyone there. "Okay, listen up, you guys. Gwen, Amaya, and I will handle the big guy. You all handle the little ones and keep them off our backs."
After being healed and having their mana restored, everyone was pumped up and ready to go.
"You got it!"
"Leave it to us!"
"Uhh, Kai, you could just kill it with ease, you know." Although Gwen said that, she was ready for a fight. Her dragon blood was pumping, and she wanted to try her hand at the monster.
"Sure, I can, but what’s the fun in that? Besides, look at you. I can tell you’re itching to fight that thing."
"Ha, it’s that obvious, huh?"
"Well, that must be nice, having cool dragon powers or being super strong. Then there’s me, little Amaya. What am I supposed to do, go for its weak spots while you two deal all the damage?"
Kai smiled. "Yes."
She shrugged. "Meh, I was gonna do that anyway. Last one there is a rotten-"
Kai blasted off.
