Chapter 1184
There was no point in strangling Rinne. Evangeline knew it wouldn’t change anything.
Evangeline brushed the gritty sand off her clothes, then squinted out at the sea that stretched out past the horizon.
The white shoreline was stunningly beautiful, giving a different feel from the beaches she had seen in Korea. They called this kind of place a white beach, where the water was so clear you could see straight through it.
She had once thought about visiting such a place, and once she saw it with her own eyes, she had to admit that it was truly beautiful.
“So, where are the other two? Are they trying to figure out how to escape or something?”
Instead of responding, Rinne quietly led Evangeline on a trek through the woods. It wasn't long before they came to a stop deep into the forest.
“Did you say I was unconscious... for three whole days?”
“Rinne analyzes that your body wasn’t used to the aftereffects of the dimensional circle.”
Taking stock of her surroundings, Evangeline saw that Marky and Yuria had already constructed a large shelter and were drying fruit.
“What the hell are you two doing? We need to get out of here right now—”
“Oh my, you’re awake, Miss,” Yuria said with a cheerful wave. “Sorry, but escaping this place isn’t possible at the moment.”
Evangeline fell silent for a moment at the unexpected response. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
