Chapter 1183
“Ugh. Uuuugh! My hair!”
A woman quietly watched Seung-Hyun, aka Moderation, as he thrashed in his sleep like he was trapped in a nightmare.
Standing in the pitch-black room, her gaze remained fixed on him.
Losing all his hair at such a young age must’ve been traumatic beyond words.
Letting out a short sigh, the woman pulled out a sphere filled with pure white light from her robe and gently placed it on his chest. The white light seeped into his body, spreading across it until his entire body glowed brightly. It then vanished without a trace.
“Gotta reward him for playing so nicely with Evangeline.”
With a soft smile, the woman looked down at him, still drenched in cold sweat as he slept, and then disappeared without a sound.
The next morning, he shot up while screaming, “Aaaargh!! My hair!!”
He instinctively placed his hands on the crown of his head, only to let out a deep sigh of relief. “Whew. It feels rough... huh?”
Just as he exhaled in relief, his eyes widened in shock. It was because he was feeling something he shouldn’t have felt.
Before he passed out, he had clearly felt the smooth, bald surface of his scalp. That sickening dizziness and throbbing pain in his head wasn’t something he could possibly forget.
He instinctively bolted to the bathroom, yet when he looked into the mirror, all he could do was laugh in disbelief.
