Chapter 130: Win win situation
As he was raised in the environment where no one has ever dared to speak against him or drill some rational thinking into his mind, he got accustomed to that winning kind of feeling.
Now, all of a sudden it changed when Brina came into their life. Despite the power he held, he failed to get what he wanted from her. It increased his ego and hate towards her.
"All right. As your uncle is the prime obstacle in your way now, you have to eliminate him first. Earlier, he didn’t have any suspicions against you but after hearing your conversation I think your uncle is angry with you." Brina said.
"Why would he be angry at me?" Nolen asked. What has he done except for meeting some people and asking them to find out about the person named ’Shadow’.
"Because, the people whom you paid to search for me are none other than the people from your uncle’s opponent gang." Brina said, dropping a bomb.
"What?!" Nolen asked, his voice barely sounding out of his throat.
Now, he understood how intense this matter has become. Instead of taking down Brina, he somehow got tangled up with two powerful and dangerous gangs of the city.
Nolen is so sure that his uncle would have already ordered his people to find out why his he has met the opponent gang. He is sure that his uncle must have found out about these meetings he was having with an opponent gang.
And, this could be the reason why his uncle called him just now.
