Chapter 6: Obtain A Unique Artifact
Sitting face to face, Noah noticed the small golden Phoenix pin embedded in Edgar's business suit, the same logo as The Golden Phoenix Group.
The questions that had been flooding his mind since last night suddenly disappeared upon facing him.
Edgar's charisma was no joke; it felt like confronting his former boss, who had fired him for a small mistake a few months ago.
"Sir, feel free to ask me now. I'm ready to address all your questions."
Noah flinched at Edgar's soothing voice, seemingly understanding his anxiety: 'Doubt... yes, that's the one thing he wanted to clarify.'
"Edgar, I must admit that all of this still feels unreal. How could Anderson Morgan be my father...?"
Noah finds it somewhat strange to refer to him in that way.
After clearing his throat, he continued, "He suddenly sent me the inheritance despite never meeting me? He didn't even perform a DNA test to verify that I'm his legitimate heir... Can you please explain if this is true? Or is it simply a test for me?"
Edgar smiled upon hearing Noah's words.
"It's absolutely true, sir. I can't disclose how we located you, but we honestly confirmed that you are his genuine son. The System identified you as the biological son; you are the true bloodline of Anderson Morgan."
Noah was shocked to learn that Edgar was aware of the System.
