Chapter 14: Tricking Bai Yinyin
Leng Pan was no better. This was her first time in a man’s bedroom and she didn’t even know where to put her hands.
But she knew that she had to adapt quickly. She had made the decision to marry Lu Zhen and she had every intention of being a proper wife.
His mother and brother are coming back tomorrow and for the last two days of peace before the apocalypse, they will stay under the same roof. She didn’t want to give them a reason to dislike her.
She knew from the book that even though Lu Zhen’s mother didn’t hate her, she had no good feelings about her either because she had kept her son hanging for so long.
She had valued her fake friend over her son, so of course any mother would feel uncomfortable.
But she didn’t want them to have any conflict before the apocalypse, which might challenge their future interactions.
In the apocalypse, trust is a significant thing, and having family members with infighting issues could spell trouble.
So, she planned to avoid that as much as possible. And the only way to do it was to have a good and loving relationship with her husband.
Her mother-in-law will not cause trouble as long as her son is happy.
Leng Pan walked into the bathroom and was shocked when she entered the through door.
They were all living in the villa area but why was the difference so big? Her bathroom in her parents’ villa was not even half as big and luxurious as this one.
