Chapter 446: With Love
At Li’s Residence
Josh woke up the next day with a heavy headache. It was the worst hangover he had ever had in his life. He immediately got out of the bed and took a quick shower and went out of the room.
"You’re up late... Go to the dining area. Shane is busy preparing a meal for you." Min commented with a mischievous grin on his face before adding, "Good luck bro..."
Josh was confused with that grin, and he wondered. "Why does it look like something not so good is about to happen?" Josh murmured as he walked towards the dining area.
He saw Shane preparing the table for him.
"You’re awake just in time. I am sure you must be feeling hungry," Shane greeted with an ear to ear smile. "I rarely cook but I wanted to reward my good husband so... I cooked for you today."
"Oh dad, come eat with Josh... I cooked something good for a hangover." Shane muttered with a smile, seeing her father.
Shane’s father gulped and said, "It’s okay, dear. I’m already late for work, so I’ll just take a drive through on my way."
Then he looked at Josh and muttered, "Enjoy the meal and good luck, son."
Josh felt something was weird in the sentences they all spoke and looked at all the dishes before him.
’Why did they sound like Shane’s cooking is bad?’ he mused when he thought everything seemed to be nicely done in the presentation and smelled good as well.
