Blaze’s pov
In all honesty, I wanted Labyrinth to stay behind.
Today is the day that I’m finally going to bring my uncle down from the throne which rightfully belongs to me, and give it to my sister. I just already knew that it wasn’t gonna be an easy feat, so I wanted my mate to stay behind. It doesn’t matter to me that he has now grown so strong, I’d always be worried about him no matter the situation we’re in, and I’d always want him to be far away from every danger.
But I knew he’d not agree to stay behind.
Roy was rounding up some last minute plans, and he was bickering with Kim. My mate and I exchanged glances and I snorted. I was yet to talk to Roy about what his deal with Kim was, but I planned on doing that today. It’s been three days since I regained my sanity back and it’s safe to say that I now feel very much normal again. I briefly wondered how the people in the werewolf clan had taken the news of my disappearance, but knowing how they hated and feared me, they most definitely threw a party in celebration.
I let out a sigh, dragging my fingers through my hair as I turned around to stare at the children staring at me from the other side of the palace. Labyrinth nudged my shoulders and I glanced down at him.
"They’re smitten with you." He told me and I rolled my eyes before ruffling his hair up.
"They’re scared, you mean." I corrected him but he only rolled his eyes before taking my hand, and then he began to practically pull me in the direction of the kids. My eyes widened and I panicked.
