Chapter 191: issues
Kim’s pov
Trust issues are something I’ve always associated myself with since I could remember. It was never a foreign concept to me.
As I stood beside a bunch of students, I noticed Blaze speaking with his father, and he had Jules with him, arm wrapped around him protectively. The discussion they were currently having didn’t look like a friendly one, and I felt a pang of worry settle in my chest.
I had been promised to be let off the hook by a man who usually gave me orders on what to do in order to capture Jules. He apparently worked directly for Blaze’s father, and is also one of the members of the higher ups of the school.
When I failed to get Jules into the car after spending hours in the mall, I knew I was supposed to have gotten killed. In this kind of game, you don’t get more than one chance. Two chances is a grace which is very rare.
The fact that I was forced to fuck that chance up or risk Blaze’s wrath getting unleashed on me was the reason why I failed the task on purpose.
I knew I was supposed to undoubtedly get killed that night and that was why when I got to the location texted to me, I instantly began to plead for my life, because that was the only thing I could do.
The man– Chris Harrisburg, is a werewolf just like Blaze’s father, and he was the one tasked with teaching me a lesson since he was the one who agreed to give me a second chance when everyone were against it.
As I pleaded for my life that night after the failed mission, he finally agreed to spare my life and give me one more chance... under one condition.
Said condition is that I was gonna let him fuck me.
It was either that or I got killed.
