Chapter 118: I Want To Belong To You
Jules’ pov
"You have?" I whispered and when he hummed and nodded, my eyes widened in disbelief and shock as his words danced around in my head. I was practically reeling from shock. There I was this entire time thinking I had been fooling him, not knowing that he had been able to see through every damn thing.
"Oh." I ended up mumbling, unsure of what to say next.
Blaze let out a snort this time before continuing. "From the first moment i got a whiff of your scent, I knew you weren’t a werewolf. Even though you claimed to be dormant, you were still supposed to have a bit of werewolf scent clinging to you, but I didn’t detect anything relating to werewolf from you from the onset." He revealed and I blinked a few times, mind reeling even more.
"I- I thought..."
"Others were probably fooled, but not me. I guess that’s because it’s way harder to fool me than other people." He continued and I couldn’t agree more on the last part, it was clearly impossible to fool him.
I shifted a little in his laps, swallowing a little as I struggled to word my next train of thoughts.
"You didn’t mind that I wasn’t a werewolf?" I asked, biting on my bottom lip as a feeling of unease rushed through my insides.
The side of his lips twitched as he lazily shook his head this time.
