Chapter 107: Pleas
Jules’ pov
I wasn’t the only one in the elevator I rode up.
Xander was present in the elevator as well.
It made me uncomfortable. He made me feel really uncomfortable and if I had know he was gonna appear out of nowhere and slip into the elevator becire the doors fully slid close, then I’d have waited for another elevator to come down.
I remained at the far end of the elevator, which wasn’t much because it wasn’t that spacious.
Xander wasn’t even trying to hide the fact that he was currently staring at me. He wasn’t just staring at me, he was checking me out.
His eyes raked over my body and I grew even stiffer. Images of that particular day that he had me trapped in his bedroom and had almost raped me if it wasn’t for blaze arriving and saving me from me. I let out a sharp breath and tried to shove those thoughts out of my mind, it’s best I don’t think about things like that right now to avoid entering a panic attack state.
"You’re being awfully silent." His voice rang through the elevator and I flinched because that was unexpected. I had expected him to remain silent until we’d get to the highest floor which we’re both on.
I bit on my bottom lip and shifted a little, growing more uncomfortable.
