Chapter 49: Early Morning Accident
"Ring ring ring!"
Early in the morning, Wang Longhu was woken up by a hurried phone call.
Having barely fallen asleep at dawn, Wang Longhu opened his eyes feeling somewhat irritated, glancing at the phone screen to see he had only slept for three hours.
"Who is it?" Wang Longhu grumbled impatiently, answering the call with his eyes closed again.
"Longhu! Are you free now? I have something I need your help with."
A familiar voice sounded, and Wang Longhu furrowed his brows, thinking carefully before he recognized that it was actually Lin Haitao.
"What’s up, Haitao." Wang Longhu quickly sat up, yawned, and asked.
He knew Lin Haitao’s personality well; if it weren’t for a major, unsolvable problem, he definitely wouldn’t be calling so early for help.
"Longhu, Ye Yuanpei has been kidnapped. I suspect it’s by someone from the underworld. Can you help rescue him?" Lin Haitao’s voice trembled a bit from the other end, sounding quite frightened.
Hearing this, Wang Longhu was immediately alert.
"Ye Yuanpei’s been kidnapped? How can something like this still happen these days? Who grabbed him? Did you call the police?"
