Chapter 73: Put me down!
"Look, before you freak out, I said 70%. So there’s a 30% chance that that might NOT happen." John hurriedly said when he saw the panic rising up in his twin’s eyes.
John just grabbed his head and looked down, his eyes glancing over the sketch of Talia.
"What If... it happens? Please tell me this is a joke." Jephthah whispered.
"I also want this to be a joke but it’s true. Let’s just hope it doesn’t happen." John finalizes. He didn’t look the least bothered about it but John was a bit nervous.
"Okay..." John got off the bed and picked up the chipped off pencil. "Here’s your pencil and I’ll be seeing myself out now. I’m going to freshen up and lock up and like we planned, I’m crashing in here so freshen up before I return or you’re heading to her room like this."
Without a word, he just left.
John just sat there for while and finally chuckled softly.
"It might not happen." He echoed his twin’s words and went into the bathroom to shower.

Lebanon went to sleep for the night while Brittany went straight to Daniel’s room. When she tried to open the door, it was locked. She kept jiggling the knob around, sure that he was in there since he locked the door from the inside but he didn’t open up.
At that moment, Royce with Brittany in his arms carried her off to their room while Barton stretched his hands, ready to head in for the night.
