Chapter 72: She’s leaving
Just as Talia wanted to scream out, Raiden predicted something like that would happen and leaned over, closing her mouth with his hands.
Talia’s voice was muffled as she said something, her eyes moving from Raiden’s to Nancy’s.
"No one except the three of us know about this and we want to leave it as it is." He said in a low voice and when Talia just gave a nod, giving her confirmation to his order, he leaned back, releasing his hand.
"How did you know?" Nancy asked him.
"Because he told me... and before you ask any questions, No. He is not here. He’s probably reached Crescent Moon’s pack by now. So he called."
"What?" It was Talia’s turn to react this time before a shocked Nancy could say a word. "But he’s well aware that his mate is here. In Dark Risers’s pack. I’m still lost here because I’m wondering why I found my best friend, naked in his room looking like she ran a marathon."
"That’s because she did." Raiden replied
"But..."
"If you will let me finish Talia then you wouldn’t be asking so much questions."
Talia was raging mad but she cooled down when Nancy held her arm and patiently listened to what Beta Raiden had to say.
"He tried to reject her..."
