Chapter 33
Red arrived at the abandoned orphanage and opened the handcuff space, pulling out a pouch she had kept inside.
She took one cookie from the pouch and took a bite.
It was a cookie made by the children.
A smile softly appeared at the corner of Red's mouth.
Though it wasn’t as well-made as the cookies crafted by professional bakers, to her, it was the best cookie in the world.
After finishing the cookie, she opened the storage space again, put the pouch back inside, and got out of the car.
The orphanage she was visiting now was much larger than the one she sponsors, and the yard was as large as a school playground.
But now, it was a desolate, abandoned building.
Red remembered the grandeur of this place.
She had once thought that all of this was Isaac’s dedication to providing the best environment for the children, but now that she knew the truth, disgust flooded her.
She broke down the entrance door and walked steadily into the yard.
Someone was standing in the center of the yard.
