Ariana could not believe her mother would be this cruel to her. How could she not recognize her.
"Mother please, stop, please!" She cried, struggling to get Maybelline’s hands off her hair, but the woman just wouldn’t leave her alone. May’s grip was so tight, that Ariana felt an instant head ache.
"You stupid child, I’ll kill you with my bare hands." May continued, dragging her across the lounge and put of the mansion. She threw Ari out with a force that made her crash against the wet floor.
"You, get me James. I want seven maids to flog her till I say stop." The maid stared at May with wide eyes but she quickly went on with the task. They all wondered if May knew the girl before her was her favorite child or someone else.
"Since you have refused to stay away from me, I’ll teach you a lesson you’ll never forget in your miserable life today.
"Mother, please it’s not what you think." Ariana tried to beg. She was already weak from all the beating and dragging. She could barely catch her breath to even form a reasonable sentence and James arrived at the same time.
"Madam May." The butler bowed. Ariana eyes lit up, since she was too tired and James knew her, he could speak on her behalf. She smiled.

"James we have a pest I want you to teach a valuable lesson to. She needs to know her place and never return here."May glared at the girl on the floor.
