As the surroundings turned dark, Miguel decided to take a nap. He had been awake since midnight yesterday due to the wailing sounds, he figured that he should rest while those disturbing sounds were still not around.

A few hours later, Miguel was awakened by a strange sound.

His [Divine Sense] picked up an unusual movement and sound a few meters away.

He stood up and looked in that direction.

A moment later, a small demonized beast appeared in his vision, making him frown.

The demonized beast’s appearance has become more frequent, it was now certain that there was indeed going behind the scenes. And whatever it was, it must be infinitely close to this area, as he had met a lot of demonized beasts here.

The demonized beast this time was fairly small. It was only the size of a head.

Miguel was familiar with this beast as it was included in the book that he got from Erika.

Level 2 Normal Grade Amphibiac Mouse.

Its tail slowly swirled like a spring. It touched the ground and in the next moment, as though an arrow that was knocked from a fully pulled bow, the small figure of Amphibiac Mouse traveled at extreme speed towards the evolving Volcanic Tortoise.

However, Miguel would not allow that to happen.

Without even using a skill aside from [Divine Sense], his figure bolted out and met the Amphibiac Mouse in the middle. He planted his feet on the shallow creek and made a kicking motion towards the approaching demonized beast.

Unaware of the sudden intrusion, the Amphibiac Mouse was not able to dodge.

Its body was kicked backwards with the same speed it moved forward earlier.

As swift as it arrived, as swift as it left.

With Miguel’s current strength, there was no need for him to use a skill for such a weak beast at all. No matter if it was demonized or not, it was still just a Level 2 Normal Grade beast in the end.

Miguel did not wait for the demonized beast to recover. He kicked the ground and dashed towards where the demonized beast had landed.

BAM!

A simple kick greeted the Amphibiac Mouse that was about to get up. This time, its head exploded like a melon from the sheer pressure and impact it received from Miguel’s forceful kick.

At the same moment, the grimoire flashed in front of him, showing him the result of the recent kill.

Even though the Volcanic Tortoise was present, it seemed that it was ruled out as someone that did not participate in the battle, hence it did not receive any reward.

The World’s Wil was indeed just and fair.

On the other hand, Miguel merely frowned after killing this small demonized beast. Even though he earned a little bit of experience points from it, he was actually not happy at this moment.
