Chapter 21: She wants to be a single mother
Rose was looking at her and biting her lips, thinking twice if she should admit it and tell her. "Yes, it was about Rolan, and he was the dumb bastard that delayed me."
"Well, bestie, he’s the one that delayed me this time. He was at my house today."
"What do you mean that he was at your house?" Zara screamed, forgetting that she was not fully recovered.
For all these years, her best friend had stayed away from him, keeping her promise not to have any relationship with her child’s father. So how did their paths cross again? Her best friend had been really sad in the past but had made the right decision after her rebirth.
"Zara, I didn’t want him to come into my house. I didn’t open the door for him." Rose shook her head, looking at Zara, hoping she would believe her. "Yes, I had really decided not to get back together with Rolan. I hadn’t planned any of this."
Zara was confused by what Rose said. "What do you mean you didn’t open your door for him? Then how did he get into your house? Don’t tell me he came through the window," Zara said, coughing and focusing on her.
Rose held her hand, trying to calm her down. "Yes, if I told you he came through the window, and uninvited, would you believe me? I didn’t open my window for him. That bastard came in like a burglar at my house," Rose’s eyes were wide, recalling the scene. If she had known, she would have really hit him with a pan. If she had known it was Rolan and not some burglar...
"Damn, girl. Rolan is really crazy," Zara commented on how bizarre it all was in her head.
"Yes, he’s really crazy. He’s very crazy. He’s even crazier in front of Tobi."
