Rise of the Rejected Luna

Chapter 218: _The War Was Over.

Everything changed in an instant, my warriors were being overpowered. Some were bleeding and exhausted, some had lost their limbs, some had body filled with deep claw marks.

My eyes searched the clearing until it landed on Lycan Davos. He had fought bravely in the last fight so I thought he would be doing well.

He was backed into a corner, three vampires were clawing at him while he held on tight to one, biting hard on his neck and ripping out his throat.

He growled as he slammed his shoulder into one of them, pushing him to the ground. He turned to another, digging his claws deep across the vampire’s face, making him scream in pain.

He snapped the neck of another, the last lunged at him, but he grabbed him mid-air, slamming him into the ground so hard the ground cracked beneath them. Just as he fought them, another group of vampires came at him.

He was winning, but he was struggling and was starting to slow down.

I saw a vampire thrown across the battlefield, I followed the trail and it was Sir Elijah fighting with raw rage. Each of his movements were precise, every strike strong and hitting the vampires cleanly. He was severing limbs and slashing through necks.

He was sweating, his speed was slowing too. The vampires just kept coming, unrelenting and endless.

Not far from him, Sir Alan was a force not to be reckoned with. Unlike Sir Elijah’s powerful strikes, Sir Alan fought like a wall of steel. He didn’t move from where he stood because his left arm bled heavily, but any vampire foolish enough to move close to him had their bones crushed with a punch.

One vampire leapt on his back, sinking his long nails into his shoulder. Sir Alan let out a roar, he reached back, grabbed his throat and smashed him into the ground. He was tired and he needed help soon.

Elder Gita, in the thick of it all, stood tall and proud. She was the only one that matched the vampires speed and even the vampires were confused.
