All Across the Dimensional Grid
The moment the Quantum Reaper slays each of the Ascendants who were previously chasing after her, their respective Dimensional Blocks all get notified of it one after another. With each one getting messages from the System about their Dimensional Block’s Dimensional Champion being killed by the Dimensional Champion of Dimensional Block #108. Thereby giving Dimensional Block #108 the right to annex their own Dimensional Blocks should they wish.
And despite those Dimensional Blocks’ Dimensional Leaders already expecting it, they all feel genuine terror at the idea of the Quantum Reaper coming to their Blocks and taking control.
They knew this would happen the moment their Blocks’ Champions all fled after seeing the Quantum Reaper’s new Legendary Feats.
Then, just a few hours after the messages about the Dimensional Champions’ deaths were sent out, the Dimensional Leaders and the people of each Dimensional Block involved all receive more messages from the System. Each informing them that the Dimensional Blocks are all transferring to Dimensional Block #108 from here on out. With the former Dimensional Leaders of the Blocks losing their positions in the process.
But that’s not all as news begins to spread about the strange errors beginning to show up in the System. Terrifying the people of the Dimensional Grid in the process as there have never been errors in the System before.
And to top that off, the former Dimensional Leaders of the various Dimensional Blocks that the Ascendants were the Champions of find the Quantum Reaper visiting them all one by one. Only to take everything she can find from the Dimensional Champions’ lairs before leaving.
All without so much as saying a word to the former Dimensional Leaders.
Word continues to spread across the Dimensional Grid about how powerful the Quantum Reaper has become, along with her slaughtering of the various Ascendant Tier users who attacked her. And not long after the word spreads, The Retreat announces the actions of the Ascendants she killed. Criminalizing them in the process in the minds of the people.
And in the process making the first ever real attempt to clear the Quantum Reaper’s name and the fear built into the people of her.
But despite painting her in a better light as someone who won’t go around killing for no reason, news of the oddity in one particular Dimensional Block soon spreads. Where one of the greatest seers in the Dimensional Grid feels something is wrong in their Grid and uses his foresight to see into the past and the future.

And finds out about the Ascendant whose entire existence was erased as if he never existed in the first place. With everything he owned and did being altered to fit a reality without him. At which point the people of the Block manage to fill in the blanks and realize that the Quantum Reaper somehow managed to erase an Ascendant’s entire existence.
Further terrifying the people in the process even if they now know she isn’t killing them without a reason.
But it doesn’t take long for the people to be distracted again when they learn about new changes at the borders of the Dimensional Grid. Where the corruption quickly begins to spread faster and faster. Corrupting more and more, with more Corruptors showing up than ever before.
Leading to significant casualties amongst those protecting the Dimensional Grid.

I feel perfectly satisfied after I finish collecting all of the loot from the various Ascendant Tier users I killed. Because the loot numbers quite a bit overall. With a lot of the passive increase type items I was looking for included in their number.
A smile spreads across my face as I put on the items one after another. Stacking on hundreds upon hundreds of passive effects from the items.
Of course, at my current level of strength, it isn’t anywhere near of an increase as it would be for someone else. But it’s still a significant increase in my power.
Hopefully enough to deal with the Corrupted One in the future. And the other Quantum Beings.
But if it’s not, I can still train my energy manipulation and my other skills. Not to mention that I can level up still, even if it’s harder as an Ascendant.
Most importantly, I can use my new racial skill to take skills from my enemies.
I purse my lips as I think of the various Quantum Beings.
Huh. That’s actually not a bad idea.
If some of the Quantum Beings decide they will start causing trouble and become enemies, I can just take their magic with my powers as a devourer. Like Mom did to the previous Quantum Architect.
Then I can use that power against the Corrupted One.
I glance at the bracelet on my arm before smiling faintly. Mostly because that bracelet is the only reason I can actually put on so many items.
After all, it would be very cumbersome to have hundreds of rings, bracelets, necklaces and the like on at once.
I would literally just be drowned in items.
Far too many items.
But this item in particular makes all of the items I have on my person enter an incorporeal state. Making it so that the items don’t have any weight or physical presence. Nor can they be seen.
It’s like they’re all ghost items.
And I can take any item off that I want with just a thought. So I don’t even have to take off the item making them incorporeal to take off the other items.
Overall, it’s a very convenient item.
A lot of people use the item simply to hide what items they have equipped from others for the sake of keeping their trump cards secret.
I might be the only person to use it just because the items are annoying to have on.
That makes me chuckle a little before I finally make my way back to The Retreat. Where I find the entire council waiting for me.
Do they want to talk about my Ascendant killing spree, or is this about the glitchy System?
I frown for a moment before shrugging and deciding to see what they want.
