Chapter 1248: Fighting a True God
Xu Qing had encountered True Gods before. But this was his first time dealing with a True God in the true sense! Bimo Si, the god of pain, had been returning, and not complete. In fact, there were many details about hīm that had been different from hīs complete form. For example, hīs temple, the god inside of it, and hīs godhood....

They grew scales all over their bodies, their arms became very skinny, they felt their faces distorting, and they sprouted fangs.... They were all starting to transform to look exactly like this god!
The fruit of terror blossomed within them, causing them to shake violently from fear. It seemed like their souls were being corrupted. If the process completed, they might not be dead, but they would be close to it. And that would be because what was left behind wouldn’t be them. They would simply be believers in the True God to possess as mediums!
That was the real strength of True Gods.
The grievous blow landed by Immortal Monarch Spirit Jade, and the suppression by the immortal will in the area, put this True God at a big disadvantage. The god was struggling to do this. If hē had been dealing with ordinary cultivators, things might have been going better. Hīs weakness wouldn’t have been so obvious.
