"Dad, Ayla vanished again", Jace shouted before I could say.
"What are you saying?" Mrs white came forward first.
"Yes mom, this guy came running here to see if she came here or not and telling me now they wouldn’t be able to find her anywhere", he said, making everyone glare at me.
"I-it’s not like that", I stuttered.
"You bastard, you are saying it’s not like that when you are the one after everything. How could you fucking say it’s nothing when it happened for the second time." he held my collar.
"He is telling the truth. It’s really not like that", James came forward and made him loosen up his grip on my collar.
I really have no idea how to act in this situation as I have never been this scared in my entire life. The moment she left me before, I still wanted to patiently think she would come back one day but now I see no hope when she leaves Ayla here with me.
My head is in chaos.
"Oh, so you’re too involved in this?"
"You know James I trusted you a lot when I let you be with Ayla when she was only a kid but that day you did the act behind my back I broke all my toes with you but I didn’t know there will be a day when we keep seeing each other and you will be the one of them to play a character to make my sister in pain." Jace gritted his teeth.
"Yeah I know and I won’t ask for forgiveness either but all I can say is my brother is not at fault." he gently said.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
