Chapter 89
Aaron POV
I was in a meeting with an overseas client when I got a call from home mentioning it was an emergency. I don’t know what was the emergency but the way the butler called me with panic while I heard Ayla’s crying from behind made me panic as well which is why I left all of my work in the middle and drove to home.
James followed me as well but he didn’t ask anything until we reach home.
As I reached home I slammed the main door loud while I found the butler was holding Ayla who was crying nonstop.
"What the hell is going on?" I asked with a loud voice but no one uttered a single word but as soon as James came forward I saw Chloe coming out from the upper floor while a maid was with her.
"I need to know to figure it out", I asked again when Ayla came running toward me and holding on to my pants while her tears kept on running down her cheeks.
"M-mommy"
"Get my mom."
"She left me"
She was saying but I still didn’t understand what is she trying to say.
"Baby, calm down and say again", I asked.
"Mommy..hic..left...me."
