Chapter 409: Learning to Make Trouble Without Reason
"What’s wrong?"
Zhan Hanjue opened the door with a grim face.
Xiaxia saw Zhan Hanjue’s expression and immediately knew he was unhappy. Frightened, she hid behind Tuantuan.
She timidly said to Tuantuan, "Brother, I’m scared."
Tuantuan suddenly took on a commanding tone, comforting Xiaxia, "Don’t be afraid, brother is here."
After speaking, he looked up seriously at Zhan Hanjue and said, "Dad, I want Xiaxia to stay; don’t send her away."

Zhan Hanjue didn’t understand his son, but Ye Ningwan did.
She pushed Zhan Hanjue aside and said to Tuantuan, "Tuantuan, this is something your dad and I need to discuss. You’re too young to make this decision."
"I can decide! I want Xiaxia to stay. If you don’t let her stay, I’ll be angry," Tuantuan said unreasonably like a child.
Though he was indeed a child.

She looked at him in disbelief, wondering if this was still her son.
"Tuantuan, your dad and I will discuss this first. You take Xiaxia to play," Zhan Hanjue, used to his son’s antics, calmly found an excuse for them to leave.
Tuantuan nodded and left, holding Xiaxia’s hand.
Ye Ningwan was still in shock, not expecting Zhan Hanjue to handle such a child.
After Tuantuan and Xiaxia left, Zhan Hanjue couldn’t help but lean in for a kiss.
But Ye Ningwan blocked him with her hand.
"Don’t mess around; I have questions for you."
"What questions? Let’s talk later," Zhan Hanjue said as he leaned in again.
Ye Ningwan stepped aside, pushing against his chest, "No, let’s talk now. What if the kids come back? Are you sure you want to be interrupted twice? No problem?"
She finished, playfully blinking her eyes.
Zhan Hanjue was embarrassed.
Two interruptions in a row would indeed be a problem.
"Alright, let’s talk first. But about what?"
"Don’t you think Tuantuan’s behavior is abnormal?" Ye Ningwan brought up Tuantuan first.
Zhan Hanjue shook his head, "I don’t think so. Isn’t that how children normally react?"
"Normal? I’ve raised him for three or four years, and he’s never been so unreasonable or acted spoiled with me," Ye Ningwan said.
Zhan Hanjue laughed, "That’s because your parenting style is wrong. For normal kids his age, spoiled behavior and being unreasonable is normal."
Ye Ningwan shook her head, still thinking Tuantuan’s behavior was abnormal.
But Zhan Hanjue said it was normal, so she decided to just treat it as normal.
Actually, she understood that kids this age usually act that way. Many are even more unruly, and adults just find them cute and don’t think there’s an issue.
But Tuantuan had always been easy for her to care for, rarely causing trouble.

"The other one is missing. I’ve had people looking for them," Zhan Hanjue said.
"What exactly happened with Feng Qianru?" Ye Ningwan asked again.
Someone dying suddenly without any apparent reason is in itself unusual.
Even with Feng Qianru gone, what about Xia Wenyuan?
Logically, Xia Wenyuan should be by her side, but Zhan Hanjue brought Xiaxia back.
"Wanwan."

Ye Ningwan was speechless, "I never offended you. My issues were with Feng Qianru, not with you, Mr. Feng. Besides, Feng Qianru was the one at fault first. Why blame me?"
"Am I talking about Qianru? I mean Zun. You took Zun away for so many years, never to return. When he finally did, he’s always out and won’t come back. Isn’t it because you incited him?
