"Mr. Tingye, is this your girlfriend?""Mr. Tingye, can you say a few words?"
The journalists, who had been waiting at the end of the red carpet, rushed forward as soon as they saw Dan Tingye approaching, surrounding him tightly.
Numerous flashlights pointed at his face, questions being thrown at him one after another.
Before Dan Tingye could speak, the journalists redirected their focus to the young woman next to him, Meimei.
"Miss, could you tell us a little about yourself?"
"What is your relationship with Mr. Tingye?"
"Can you share if your joint appearance at the banquet today is a sign you’re going public?"
"..."
What kind of questions are these?
She merely attended the banquet with Tingye, yet it felt like their secret relationship was being exposed.
Listening to the increasingly outrageous questions, Meimei instinctively opened her mouth to answer.
The next moment, she remembered Dan Tingye’s advice, glanced at him, and saw his composed expression as if he hadn’t heard a word. Her emotions slowly calmed.
She had promised Tingye, no matter what people said, she would leave the answering to him.
The group of journalists questioned for a while without getting any answers, their curiosity piqued further. Then they finally heard Dan Tingye leisurely part his lips.
"Today’s main focus isn’t me but the person beside me."
With those words, Dan Tingye took Meimei’s hand, stepped forward, and spoke clearly for everyone to hear, "This is Yu Xin, the sole heir to the YX Group."
"Wow—"
After a moment of shocked exclamations, everyone’s gaze towards Meimei changed.
Originally, they considered her a girl from a small family, caught in Mr. Tingye’s eye due to her beauty, not realizing she was the distinguished Miss of YX Group.
