"But if you hide here and don’t appear in front of the media, I assure you Mr. Bai’s plane will arrive in Washington tomorrow to take you away."Dan Tingye opened his lips indifferently, tightened his grip on her hand, his dark eyes fixedly looking at her.
"Are you willing to trust me?"
"..."
Meimei bit her lip, looking innocently at him.
She really wanted to trust him, but she couldn’t figure out how, if she went out, she could shake off the identity of YX Group’s heir. By then, if the media reported it, Mr. Diwu would definitely know.
Her hand suddenly hurt, and she reflexively looked up at Dan Tingye.
Meeting his jet-black eyes, she was stunned for a moment.
It was as if she fell into a deep pool, once she fell in, she couldn’t get out.
"I trust you." Meimei opened her mouth, and the two words came out naturally.
Even she didn’t realize it herself, she just glanced at Tingye, and how did she end up believing him?
"Hold onto my arm, I’ll take you out. No matter what the media asks, you don’t need to speak, just stay by my side." Dan Tingye cautiously instructed her a few times, seeing her nod obediently, he then turned around to take her into the venue.
"You two better not leave me behind, what would I do alone?" Jiang Nan looked at the pair leaving the lounge hand in hand and, coming back to his senses, chased after them.
"The esteemed Mr. Jiang, afraid he won’t find a date?" Dan Tingye’s cold comment stopped him in his tracks.
"..."
Of course, he could find one! But he wanted Meimei.
Jiang Nan glanced at the nervous Meimei, nestled in Dan Tingye’s embrace, and knowing he had no chance, he was in no hurry to find a date. He just folded his arms and leaned slantingly at the entrance, watching Dan Tingye escort Meimei into the venue.
