Chapter 2457: Bai Zheng Pays a Special Visit to Mr. Ye
After a serious illness, Ye Zhanxing’s body was not as strong as before, yet his resolute face still carried its usual calm demeanor.
"I heard you went to the surveillance room early this morning. What happened?" Ye Zhanxing put down his pen, picked up the water cup beside him, took a sip, and asked affectionately.
"Nothing, just went to take a look." Ye Mingmei bit her lip, stepped forward, and pulled out a chair to sit in front of Ye Zhanxing.
"Dad, I have something to ask you..."
"You want to ask me about Bai Zheng, don’t you?" Ye Zhanxing interrupted her lightly before Ye Mingmei could ask.
The pure black eyes revealed a touch of ethereal brilliance, a mark of time’s deposit, as they looked at Ye Mingmei with concern.
"Dad..."
"I know you’ve met Bai Zheng. Tell me your thoughts. Do you think he resembles Yu Xiuzhun, besides the looks?" Ye Zhanxing said, reaching to the bookshelf to pull out a document, placing it in front of Ye Mingmei.
"This is the background investigation I’ve done on Bai Zheng, from birth to now, every stage’s information is here."
"Dad, do you mean Bai Zheng has always existed, and didn’t just appear suddenly three years ago? What about his photos, are they of the same person all the way through?"
Ye Mingmei asked urgently.
Ye Zhanxing just looked at her, a hint of a smile surfacing, "Do you know who Bai Zheng is?"
"The president of YX Group."
