Chapter 322: The World at the End (3)
The Blue Reaper rather liked this world it had suddenly been dragged into.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
A world so quiet that the footsteps of the Mom Golem echoed loudly.
A cozy world where it felt like they were the only two in this vast structure, with no one else around.
A world where no one was watching, so it could snuggle comfortably in its Attachment Human’s arms.
A world perfect for staying close to the Attachment Human with just a bit of courage!
The Attachment Human was secretly piling snowballs on top of her own hat.
“Hehehe.”
The Attachment Human was letting out small, suspicious laughs, thinking the Blue Reaper hadn’t noticed.
Pretending not to notice, the Blue Reaper lifted its head towards the sky, causing the snowballs to slide off the hat.
Seeing this, the Attachment Human cried out.
“No…! My white tower!”
Looking up, they could see a curtain filling the sky.
And through the tattered gaps in that curtain, an ambiguous light that was neither day nor night was visible.
That ambiguous brightness was this world’s ‘daytime’.
How fascinating.
Besides that, this world was full of wonders for the Blue Reaper.
‘I wonder who built this tower?’
The tower they were climbing with the Attachment Human was a massive structure unlike anything the Blue Reaper had seen even in the world where ‘Mom’ existed.
The tower was so tall it seemed to touch the sky, and wide enough to contain a city.
The most fascinating thing was the structure of the tower itself.
It looked as if round staircases had been haphazardly stuck together.
Moreover, it was structured so that the sky could be seen directly from each floor.
‘Why did they build it like this? Even if you look up at the sky, all you can see is the black curtain and slivers of sky through the gaps…’
How much time had passed?
The Attachment Human, bored of the field covered entirely in white, grumbled.
“This is boring. The scenery is all white, it’s so dull…”
And as the bored Attachment Human took the Blue Reaper’s tiny hand and started playing dolls, the end of the snow-covered plain came into view.
As if forcibly attached to the snow-covered plain, a parched field suddenly appeared before their eyes.
It looked like the boundary where winter meets summer.
“It’s a field!”
The pink girl sat up straight and looked around.
Then, as if sharing a secret knowledge, she whispered softly to the Blue Reaper.
“Grandpa told me that when there was a sun, food used to spring up here in abundance. Isn’t that amazing?”
“I wonder what kind of food came from this field? Canned goods? Snacks? Candy?”
The pink girl smiled happily, as if imagining delicious foods.
“That’s why I really want to climb to the very top of this tower.”
<?>
Unable to understand the connection between snacks and the top of the tower, the Blue Reaper created a question mark in the air.
“Grandpa said that the highest floor of this tower extends beyond the sky curtain. And above the sky curtain, there’s a sun.”
“Someday we’ll be able to see the sun. And there will be ‘fields’ where candy grows in abundance.”
The pink girl smiled as if talking about a dream.
