Chapter 645: It looks like a flying saucer
"Great, show me." She accessed the virtual screen immediately. On it, was a surveillance video of every building, path, tree, animal and human in the stronghold currently. Not just the things on the surface, even those which were below in the ground were mapped out.
All the secret passages leading off the island and where they led, the cave prison cells where captives were kept. The luxurious chambers of the leaders, monitoring and surveillance rooms, all of it was available to her at the tap of a finger.
She had released all twelve drones that she had in her possession and now, they could be commanded to go anywhere as she pleased.
"It’s another dig site." she said.
One of the drone cameras closest to the prison cells in the cave was in perfect position to draw a closer picture that would be giving Chi Lian her first look at the treasure. What it looked like to her was that another group of people here were digging up something else. Rocks were being moved and carried out to access something buried in the ground.
From the map, it looked like something was sitting inside a very large crater and the diggers with their excavators had managed to expose a portion of whatever was inside of the crater.
"Call me paranoid T4, but that looks a bit like a flying saucer to me, or better known as an alien ship. Am I wrong?"
She had already been told that the treasure was not hers, if it was a space ship then clearly it was not hers. If it was what she thought it was, there were many questions in her mind. For example, how long had it been in the ground?
Who had drawn the location of the spaceship or whatever it was on the clocks? What was their purpose? Did they discover it when it landed on earth?
What if it came with aliens on board, then what happened to them? Did they die or were they living like normal human beings here on earth? Was it them that drew the maps in the hopes that one of their own would someday discover them and find their way back to the ship?
There was a lot of mystery wrapped up in this thing and she wanted answers because the curiosity was burning inside of her like a hot fire fanned by natural gas that refused to die.
