Chapter 603: The worries of a girl dad.
Schools were preparing for opening, for this reason Muyang had a meeting to attend at the university with other professors. Crown university was littered with a few chatty excited students who had already moved back, some of them stayed around during the holidays.
In the conference hall, he was sitting next to a window, partially absent minded the entire time because his eyes were outside, watching these students. Initially he had glanced outside for a few seconds and his eyes caught a couple, male and female that were holding hands and leaning against one of the tall Populus trees encircling the entry of the campus garden walk way. They were not doing anything shameful, they were simply looking into each other’s eyes, engaged in conversation and laughing.
From a distance away, he could tell that they were quite smitten with each other. It was not his first time seeing a campus couple and normally he could care less about them but today, Muyang felt like separating the girl from the boy.
"What are you doing?" Yichen slid his butt onto the desk Muyang occupied and peeped out of the window, looking in the direction Yichen was. He smiled when he saw the couple and said, "Ah, young love. Why are you frowning, they are not teenagers or kids."
"You won’t understand." Muyang said with a sigh.
Another party joined them, the university principal who peeped outside as well. Apparently, the meeting had ended without Muyang noticing because he was distracted.
"I am a father to three daughters, I can understand." the vice principal said with a sigh.
Muyang and the vice principal shared a mutual look of understanding, "I see you my friend, I understand your worries, I have the same ones too." they communicated.
Tao Yichen was dissatisfied however because it looked like he was being left out. "What is this look?" he asked in a heavily complainant voice. "Whatever." he strode off and went over to Yuze and Bolin to complain about Muyang and the vice principal.
