Chapter 539: Muyang is mad at the peep star.
Lili liked to make this joke that Chi Lian had three babies because of how much she pampered and spoiled her husband Jun Muyang. She likened him to a needy first born son who wanted his mother’s attention all day long. Even though Chi Lian laughed every time Xue Lili said this, she knew that there was some truth to the fact that she spoiled her husband, and she liked it. Which is why she went home quickly to find out what exactly was making her grown baby sad.
She found him sitting at their shared desk in the bedroom, going over some paperwork with a pout on his face.
"Yang-Yang." She called him in her most adorable and soft voice as she approached the table. "Who do I need to beat up for making my handsome hubby mad?" She touched his head and gently ruffled his hair. "Tell me, I will beat them black and blue."
His hand slowly travelled to her waist and he pulled her down so the she could sit comfortably on his laps.
She put her hands around his neck and smiled while looking into his eyes.
"Can you beat up the peep star?" He asked her.
Chi Lian was taken aback and she expressed her shock with the tiny sharpening of her lips. "What?" She thought maybe she misheard because as the peep star, she had not posted anything about her husband in the past few months.
"Mmm." Muyang nodded his head further solidifying what he had just said. "The peep star must have gone blind lately. I have been called handsome more times by the peep star than any other man. But lately other men are about to surpass me, Yichen pointed it out to me today. That paparazzo called has no taste anymore and the word handsome is losing meaning." He sulked like a petulant child after lodging his complaint with his personal avenger, his wife.
She giggled and slapped his arm lightly, "Heey, I came rushing over because you sent me over ten sad face and crying face emoticons just to find out that you are like this because the peep star calls other men handsome. Why does this matter to you? This paparazzo is probably some middle aged lonely woman sitting in her dark basement with a computer and high definition cameras and her opinion of you is a non issue. The only woman whose validation you need is mine."
