Despite her pathetic wails in her mind which no one could hear but her, the system mercilessly gave her the mission.

As they were allowed inside the very large treasure vault after all protective measures were deactivated, Muyang led her inside by the hand. The old madam was curious about what types of treasure were inside so she also followed.
"What are you going to pick?" Muyang asked her.
"Something that is not my type." she replied. She had just set foot inside of a vault with items that cost millions, hundreds of millions for some. Other treasures carried so much history that they were invaluable and yet she could only pick out what the system wanted her to pick. She was not going to be paralyzed from the waist down, that was not the way she wanted to spend one whole month of her life. She consoled herself by reminding herself about all the wealth that she had accumulated through the system. She would make more later, today was not her lucky day.
All sorts of treasures filled the vault from the usual things which you expected to see like gold, diamond, rubies, and gems. Then you had precious robes worn by different emperors throughout the many years. The historical and economic value of these robes was quite significant. She saw paintings, precious herbs that were dried, some of them had come from plants that had gone extinct over the years. Jewelries, so many small mountains of jewelries. Porcelains, pearls, swords, shields, lanterns, calligraphy, ancient books and many other things. Some were sealed in glass cases, others in locked boxes, some simply sat on shelves or the floor and others were sealed within chests. Some of the things in here did not originate from their empire, they belonged to other empires or kingdoms. If she did not have a system she would not have recognized them. The emperor too was probably not expecting her to recognize them either.
