Chapter 454: The beautiful Miss Chi.
Maneuvering through the crowds to get to the point where Ian Smith was waiting for them was quite easy since they had a large group. When people saw a large group they easily moved and made way for it because it moved as one. As the boss was serious, the employees too were serious with no one wasting a moment to stop and stare at this or that despite their curiosity and desire to stop and take pictures so as to show off to the rest that they left behind at home.
"There he is." Wenli pointed out Ian Smith to Chi Lian but that was not even necessary because she saw him from a distance away. He was dressed in shorts, a floral shirt and on his head was a hat. Standing next to him was a chauffeur that was dressed professionally in a black uniform holding up a big black sign that read ’The beautiful Miss Chi Lian.’
She unconsciously smiled a little bit, just a small smile that raised up the corners of her mouth but not broad enough to make it appear as if she was extreme amused. She could bet that a lot of people that were waiting to pick up their loved ones were interested in laying eyes on this beautiful woman.
Ian Smith waved his hands eagerly when he saw her, "Miss Chi over here." He called, drawing the attention of the people toward them. Since she was in the middle she stood out obviously so eyes were on her immediately but then Chian Ximeng was walking next to her so those same eyes would move to her next.
"Between you and Ximeng they are probably wondering who the beautiful miss Chi is." T4 told her.
"Ximeng’s beauty is the kind that stands out even in the darkness." Chi Lian replied to T4 with the fact that was undisputed. "Add the red hair, fashionable outfits and you have an outstanding and eye catching appearance."
She had never competed with Ximeng for beauty and she never would because she too was beautiful enough and content with her looks. But through the footage of her drones she had learned that a good number or women from aristocratic families and idols were very jealous of Chian Ximeng for her effortless beauty.
They reached Ian Smith and he surprised her by hugging her. The man was excited as a little puppy to see her in that if he had a tail, it would be wagging back and forth.
"You are finally here Miss Chi, I am so excited to see you. There is a lot to show you, I know that you are staying at your husband’s house but I booked you a mansion at the beach in Carlifornia just in case you change your mind."
