Chapter 437: Impressive display
That same night after dinner and putting the children to bed, Chi Lian was having a conversation with Muyang in the midst of their extra large dressing room.
Muyang was looking at a brand new watch with brown leather straps which was still in its small box. "Your parents are really generous, your father spent five hundred thousand yuan to buy me this watch. I feel guilty now because I have never bought anything for him. I think I should take him out for drinks and dinner one of these days. What do you think?" He looked at his wife for advice.
She had just applied some oil on her hands and she was rubbing it on her arms when she answered him. "I am glad you like it and he will be happy to eat a meal with you privately, but if he ever sees the impressive display of million yuan and dollar watches in here he will feel weird about his gift. Do you even need all of these watches? There are about eleven watches here, one for each day of the week and then some more. I have not even counted the smart watch that I gave you."
She was standing right next to the glass counter and counting the watches one by one. It was so attractive and eye catching as the expensive watches sat in individual compartments like they were displayed in a high end shop. How often did he wear each one of them? She wondered.
He looked overcompletely unbothered and he said, "Most of them are gifts, there is one from my father, my mother, the emperor, Long Feiyan..."
"Wow, somebody should take a picture of this display, the citizens will go crazy. You have a watch from the emperor, the prime minister, the president of the Jun corporation...the peep star would have a field day with this. There is about eighty million yuan in this display alone."
Muyang looked up above them as if the peep star was somewhere spying on them.
"What are you looking for?" she also looked around in search of whatever he was searching for. "If it’s the peep star then I can assure that that paparazzo cannot get into our bedroom. We are completely safe. Blackguard would tell me if something was wrong."
Muyang was strutting around in a bathrobe, he took it off and stayed only in black boxer briefs with the word sexy around the band. Chi Lian had them made from the virtual farm with the cloth producing machine.
