Chapter 436: Chi Lian is a daddy’s girl
For some reason, the more she run the faster she felt the urge to speed up and within two minutes, she was at the Jun mansion. Into the living room she went, with the excitement of a child that had missed their parents desperately.
"Mother." she called.
She saw her parents, her brothers and grandparents all sitting in the living room.
"Mother," she called again, "You and father are back." she said happily as she run into her mother’s arms.
"My baby." Mama Chi said and she hugged Chi Lian back tightly. "I have missed you so much, how could you not call me at all when I was gone?"
"I wanted you to have some fun, I sent a daily picture of myself to assure you that I was okay. You were supposed to do the same. Why didn’t you?"
"I didn’t want you to miss me too much." Mama Chi replied. "I sent a daily picture to your oldest brother, have you lost weight? You seem to be smaller than when I left."
"How could I eat comfortably when I was missing you so much?" Chi Lian whined.
Mother and daughter were embracing as if they had been separated for decades. Nobody in the living room found this to be inappropriate however, they found it to be quite sweet.
"Where is my hug?" Papa Chi asked Chi Lian.
She squealed joyfully, almost bouncing off of the floor as she left her mother’s embrace and leaped into her father’s arms. "I missed you so much dad, I missed you so very much." she said childishly.
