Chapter 421: End of the holidays
Chi Lian and Muyang had lunch with her family before attending the horse races after lunch. Her brothers and Muyang’s brothers also attended the horse race. Chi Zimo met his self appointed bestfriend Jiang Aiguo and he vanished along with him.
Later that evening Rize released pictures of Chi Lian doing charity work. She quoted the pictures with a phrase, "No press needed."
People guessed that she was hinting at Yan Daya’s press coverage of her own charity work but Rize did not verify or clarify the rumor.
When Yan Daya saw the post, she screamed and broke thirteen plates before her mother found a way of calming her down.
On this same night, Du Moxi was rushed to a private hospital where her new manager called for a press conference and condemned Phoenix entertainment for maltreating her and snatching her songs. He also announced that they were suing Phoenix entertainment CEO Chi Rui and Phoenix media CEO Chi Lian.
The following day the entire family escorted papa Chi and mama Chi to the airport. After a lot of hugs and goodbyes, they left for their vacation.
During the rest of the Lunar holiday Chi Lian, Muyang and the children went sight seeing, visited a zoo, attended a dragon dancing show and enjoyed so many other fun activities as a family.
The fifteen days of relaxation and fun passed so quickly and soon the lunar new year celebrations came to an end and it was time for everyone to go back to work. Just like every other business owner, Chi Lian was in the office as early as seven because there was a lot to do. The first order of business was to compile all the documents and evidence necessary for suing Du Moxi for the losses she had caused the company to encounter.
The second order of business was to attend a presentation by the marketing department on which shows were deemed to be well received by the public and which ones would have to be considered for ending. ’Tea with a princess and touching hearts’ were two shows at the top of the list.
