While she was interested in finding out what happened that deterred Chi Rui from his desired path, she was not going to dig into it unless it became a problem for her brother. Whatever it was, it must be a source of pain for him to become so furious at Rize that he went days avoiding the woman he was so much in love with.
"At what time is your date?" Rize asked.
She looked at the smart watch on her wrist and she said realized that if she did not get up then she would be late for that date.
"Oh yeah, oh yeah, time to eat." She heard T4 singing in her mind and she muted him.
If she had looked at her virtual screen, she would see him dancing in a manner which was very similar to hers. The pet was adopting its host’s mannerisms completely.
"My date is in one hour and I have to get ready. I also have to prepare some excess baggage which insists on following me."
The excess baggage was none other than T4.
They both stood up and headed back inside her bedroom. Chi Lian walked into her closet and laid out three outfits on the bed as she tried to pick out which one would suit her best for this particular date.
"Where is he taking you?"
"He is taking me to the Paradise hotel." Chi Lian answered.
