Chapter 337: Plans go awry.
The morning arrived like any other, bringing with it the cold winter air which she was so used to by now. As she showered and prepared herself to leave, she thought about her mission today and went through all of the preparations she had made hoping that nothing had been forgotten.
After scouting Xichuan town for so long, she had found the perfect place to cause an accident in which she would swoop in and swap Dai Zhangye out for a fake corpse.
Her biggest worry right now was the security guards and the driver of the car. She was worried that they would become collateral in her little plot if she was not careful.
Having innocent blood on her hands was out of the question no matter what the mission was.
There was no time for breakfast today, she kissed her children on the cheeks while they were still sleeping and left home.
As soon as her car set out, Spider and old tiger came around from a corner of the house next to the garden.
Old tiger appeared to be worried while Spider had a grudging look on his face.
"I told you the boss was up to something, she doesn’t trust us." Spider said with a bite of bitterness in his words.
"It’s not our job to doubt her, we follow her lead now Spider, she has done a lot more good things for us that we have done for her." Old tiger was one hundred percent loyal to Miss Chi and he followed her rules without question. "All the young ones are now in school; they have a proper house and caretakers thanks to her. Our brothers and sisters are working for her in her companies and others are being trained or enrolled in universities.
