Chapter 295: The past
The old woman fell backwards like a bag of rocks and this scared her family members.
"Mother, mother," her aunt screamed.
Wake her up." Chi Lian told Spider. "Get a bucket of ice cold water and pour it on her, I am sure she will wake up."
Spider nodded once and stepped out.
Chi Lian then turned her eyes to her aunt who was hysterically screaming, "Hey, candidate number two since number one is temporarily out of the game, it’s time for you step up. Start talking; remember the quicker you reveal what you know the sooner you leave this place. Also keep in mind that the more you dawdle, the more slaps your daughter is going to receive."
"Yo...you are so evil." She aunt spat out.
"Accepted, now talk." Chi Lian retorted nonchalantly.
Her aunt was staring at her intensely with hatred. If she could, she would have lunged for Chi Lian and strangled her.
"I am your aunt, you can’t treat me this way." She said.
"You are candidate number two, we are not biologically related. For your information before you spew denial, a DNA test was done months ago. We just never got around to dealing with you people until you showed up on our doorstep once again. You and your family are so greedy and lazy; you are used to sponging off my mother’s hard work. I should have known that it would only be a matter of time until you showed up again." Chi Lian’s voice got louder and angrier as she talked.
"Honey," Muyang’s voice came from so close to her and she looked over to see him sitting in a chair right behind her.
