Chapter 294: I choose violence
The in house gym was usually used by herself, her brothers and the guards. Her mother had never stepped foot inside of it even once. That’s why she suggested that it be used, it was probably the last place her mother would think of to come looking for her and her siblings.
All the equipment in the gym was organized well to the sides making sure to leave the middle area spacious and unoccupied. A large green mat had been placed in that area to be used for activities like judo or sparring.
Right there in that space is where everyone was standing, surrounding a family of four unwanted visitors in the house.
Right from the entry as a bodyguard who was guarding the door let her in, Chi Lian could hear the high pitched screaming of her grandmother demanding to be untied.
"I will report you to the police for kidnapping." She threatened.
"Yes we are going to call the police." Her aunt concurred with her grandmother.
But her grandmother was not done complaining, shouting or threatening. "Chi Rui and Chi Zimo you ungrateful little bastards how can you watch these beasts tie up your grandmother? Hurry up and take these zip ties off then take me to see your mother. " She ordered.
The four people had been forced to sit on the floor of the gym. While two were shouting, two were silent. Of course, it was understandable that her uncle was quiet, he was a coward.
Her cousin on the other hand managed to surprise her. She was uncharacteristically quiet, mellow even. Perhaps the little stint in prison had managed to quell whatever spirit of arrogance and entitlement that had been living within her.
She took a few steps inside and coughed.
"Sister, you are here." Chi Zimo responded like an overly enthusiastic puppy which had just seen its owner. All that was missing was the wagging tail.
