Chapter 178: Mama Chi is angry
"Mother," her eyes widened in shock and she said in a stunned voice. "What are you guys doing here?"
Mama Chi marched towards Chi Lian angrily like a bull ready to charge at its enemy, "What am I doing here?" she asked. "What am I doing here?’ she repeated furiously. "I should be asking you that question Chi Lian. What have you been doing?"
Chi Lian knew that if her mother was not calling her Chi-Chi but referring to her with her full name then she was in trouble.
"Mother," she said nervously.
"Don’t mother me young lady, I was at the door all along with your father and brothers, we heard everything. How dare you run off and donate your eggs as if you are a chicken. Do you have so many free eggs? With whose permission did you do such a risky thing?"
"Mother..."
"Oh, you still have the guts to talk back when I am talking. When your father suggested that you take a DNA test, you acted as if he was accusing you of treason or something. And when Zimo said that someone stole your eggs I saw how pale you got and I asked you what you did but you acted innocent. Are you crazy Chi Lian, you were nineteen for God’s sake! not old enough to make such a life changing decision on your own. Do you know the health risks involved in that process? What kind of quack doctor did you get involved with? " Mama Chi roared at her angrily.
"Mother..."
"I am not done young lady." Mama Chi wagged her index finger in Chi Lian’s face, "Did we starve you? What were you lacking? What made you want to donate your eggs? Did you even consider the consequences?"
