Chapter 48: The city of gems.
D city was definitely a vibrant city. It was known for its fun night life. A lot of celebrities and tourists came to this city for fun. Its biggest source of income was tourism and jewelry.
It was said that one’s youth was a waste if they did not make it to D city at least once in their lives.
So many young people with colorful hair were roaming its streets and skating along the footpaths. Most of the shops she saw along the way as the hired car drove by were decorated with red balloons and shiny lights. The sight was truly beautiful.
Jewelry shops were the most common, no wonder D city was known as the city of gems. It got its name from the presence of a variety of jade, gold and silver mines.
Most tourists that came here participated in stone gambling. The lucky winners would find themselves being tempted to enter nearby casinos to gamble in cards. In a way, it reminded her of the city of Las Vegas back on earth.
Her hands were itching to try her luck. She had to find funds to build Phoenix headquarters somehow.
"If you want to gamble in stones you should do it tonight because tomorrow, we head into the mountains." T4 suggested.

"I am not a baby." T4 pouted.
She made her way to her hotel, showered and unpacked. She then phoned her family and told them she had arrived safely. She also sent a text with a selfie to Muyang letting him know that she was safe and thinking about him.
Dressed in black, with a long trench coat and her combat boots, she left the hotel and took a taxi to the nearest stone betting plaza.
