Chapter 273
"You do understand that what you’re planning is a massive violation of mortals rights laws, right? As an Immortal cultivator, you can’t just wipe out entire cities full of mortals whenever it’s convenient."
"What about cities full of immortals, with some innocent bystanders?"
Going by the look on his face, the answer is still no. I knew it would be trouble when Elder Song told him about the plan, and I give the Librarian a dirty look to be sure he knows how I feel.
For his part, Elder Song just laughs and pats my head. "Don’t worry, the refugees located over a dozen command strongholds for us. They should be all Immortal Realm Cultivators and it’s perfectly acceptable for you to blow them up."
Gerald looks a bit skeptical of the plan, but still somewhat intrigued, looking back and forth between us as we discuss targets.
"I know just the place. It’s all immortals, with three newly advanced Divine Realm Cultivators, and near the entrance you used on your last visit. If you hit there first it should cripple their command structure on that world and since it’s in my assigned zone, there won’t be any friendly targets."
We should do that quickly. Hit them, then retreat back here and help the werewolves get things stabilized before going back in to pick another target. The more random the better our chances to cause chaos and demoralize the Divine Transfer.
I nod in agreement before turning to Lelou, who has been captured by a bunch of pups eager the introduce her to their new friends. The mom energy of running an orphanage so long is strong with her, and she attracts children everywhere she goes.
"Watch the locals for me would you? We’ll be back in a while, we’re just going to practice some spellcraft."
