Chapter 23: The Rumours About Faircallen
Agares got the mount he wanted, a large brown horse given to him by Louise. The horse looked strong enough to help Agares travel through the city and villages.
After the saddle was attached, Agares climbed onto the horse and felt that he could control it well. Louise was relieved that Agares liked the horse she had given him.
"Remember my message, go to Berdiver City and find the Thorn family. They will help you," explained Louise.
"I understand."
Agares had to hurry. He had to leave the city center immediately and head to the west gate, then ride quickly to Berdiver City to meet the noble Thorn family.
The Thorn family was the name of Erika Thorn, the woman Agares had saved from bandits last week.
Although Agares knew his next destination, he was still curious about one thing. In his magic pouch, he had to deliver the Red Silk Worm and Autumn Night Flower herbs to Priestess Ara in Faircallen Village as soon as possible.
Since he had already obtained a mount and an exit token, Agares temporarily changed his destination from Berdiver City to Faircallen Village.
Given the current distance, there was a possibility that Agares would arrive at the village in 4-5 days of travel through the forest route.
From afar, Agares saw several people exiting the city through the same gate.
Louise thought carefully; she realized that the situation in the city felt dangerously tense due to Agares’ presence there. They had tightened security for those entering and exiting the city.
