Chapter 254 Would you be Willing
"What about me? I want mine now," Anya pouted, stomping her foot on the ground, causing her boobs to jiggle erotically, making Roman know she was doing this on purpose. He had to stop himself from going feral and pouncing on her.
Roman faced away without replying, though he had a smile on his face; if he didn’t look away from Anya, he had no idea what would happen.
"I’ll be outside," Roman said as he stood up and walked away. Anya put her head and hands on the table, making the sound of a puppy left behind by its owner; still, Roman didn’t stop.
’That girl is evil... But damn, I’ve missed them. It’s only been a few days, but yeah, I’m definitely not getting any sleep tonight. For now, I’ll continue my training’
He could have started right away; it wasn’t really a problem, but he was still going to be busy all night. Just because he satisfied them doesn’t mean they’re not going to any more, so he was simply going to save it all for tonight.
Roman stepped outside the house to see the knights close to the door staring into space. She had a smile on her face and had no idea Roman was right beside her; she looked lost in thought, almost like she was thinking of a pleasant experience.
He sat on the ground, careful not to make a noise as he looked forward too. He could stay inside and practice, but to avoid a mistake, he came outside, since it was creating a magic circle without firing off the spell.
Roman took a deep breath and stretched his hands forward. This time he conjured the magic circle for his flame arrow, and once it was completed, he cancelled the spell.
Unlike the first time, it was fairly easy for him now since he already got the hang of it, and so he continued.
The knight finally noticed something was happening beside her and turned her head to see Roman beside her, creating magic circles and then stopping just before casting the spell.
Her eyes widened as she backed away a little on the chair she sat on; she was surprised that the person she was daydreaming about was right beside him.
When Roman arrived at the mansion, she couldn’t stop staring at him, and once he was inside, she began creating an imaginary scenario in her head where Roman was hopelessly infatuated with her.
In her head, Roman chased everyone out of the house to make room for her, and then both of them made love in every corner of the house for three days straight without a break; of course it was impossible, but nothing was stopping her imagination from running wild.
Now that same Roman was beside her, he didn’t even spare her a glance as he simply continued with what he was doing.
’Should I talk to him? Am I allowed to talk to him... I’ll talk to him. I heard he’s friendly. Alright, what do I say? I can’t call his name, and he looks busy. Maybe I should... She paused as Roman turned to look at her.
"Uhmm...Hi...hi..." She stuttered as she spoke with one of her hands up.
"Hello," Roman replied.
She immediately lowered her hand slowly as she suddenly felt embarrassed, but he still replied to her; that was the most important thing.
"Um... Your name is Roman, right?"
Roman looked at her for a moment before nodding, "Yes"
Silence followed as Roman didn’t continue the conversation, and she sat there awkwardly, trying to think of something else to say.
"Are you... Busy?"
Roman glanced at her before turning forward, and then back at her. "I’m a little busy, as you can see"
’Why did I ask that? Of course he’s busy; I’m so stupid, but at least he’s talking to me. I should continue the conversation’
"Um... What are you doing? I saw you’re just creating magic circles; is that some kind of training?" She asked.
"Yes, I’m practicing... Something," Roman replied. If he told her about mana efficiency, she might want to know more; of course, he could lie about it, but it’s just a hassle.
"Oh... Okay," she nodded quickly, and Roman went back to practicing, not thinking much of her. He wasn’t planning on getting with her, and even if he was, Anya was going to kill him.
She was intent on making conversation with Roman, and after staring at him for a few seconds, she gathered the courage to speak again.
"Do you like this place... This is your first time here, right?" She asked.
Roman stopped for a moment. "It’s alright; I think it’s nice"
"Right... I think so too," she smiled awkwardly, and Roman simply nodded and faced forward once again.
’He’s not going to continue the conversation. I don’t think he wants to talk to me, but I heard he was friendly, or maybe he’s just busy, and what is he trying to achieve with just creating mana circles without completing the spells? Is there something there’
’Also, his mana control is poor. I heard there’s a tournament going on that he’s a part of; I wonder what happened... Why am I wondering? I’m sure he lost to... Wait, I can sacrifice myself for him’
"Uhmm... If you’re interested, we could spar; that would still be training, and it’s been a long time since I actually sparred with someone else, not that I still don’t know how to..."
"That’ll be great," Roman replied, cutting her off as she didn’t seem to be stopping herself.
"Really, alright then," she spoke excitedly as she stood up from the chair, while Roman also stood up from the ground. Even though she was older, Roman was still taller than her, not by much though, and now Roman noticed a sword beside her.
"Do you use a sword?" He asked, and she nodded.
"I’m an enchanter, but I can fight a normal battle too if you want that, and my hand-to-hand combat skill was second to none during my academy days"
"Really, that’s amazing... If it’s no problem, would you be willing to teach me a few enchantments and train me in hand combat?" Roman spoke in a sweet voice that melted what was left of her guard, not that it mattered, since he would absolutely do it regardless.
