Chapter 59: Three hundred?!
"Did he say what he wanted?"
Coco may have experienced something traumatic today, but the tension inside the room right now reminds her of the strong current of the waterfall earlier— dragging her down and pushing her against a rock with aggression.

"I know that it would be too much, but.." Mrs. Tani paused for a brief moment, as if to gather enough courage to say what the man wanted from her or from Mrs. Tani, "He wants to buy the fruits you sold to me a few days ago."
"He.. What?" Coco blinked, her shoulders sagging forward as she let out a sigh of relief, "He just wanted fruits?"
"Yes, he just wanted fruit— wait, what?" Mrs. Tani stopped and backed tracked as she blinked in surprise, "Just? Those fruits that you grew cost a lot, Mrs. Hughes!"
Mrs. Tani’s voice rose in volume, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion and slight disbelief at how nonchalant Coco Hughes looked before her. It was as if she didn’t know how much the fruits were!
"I know it costs a lot." Coco started with a frown of her own, "But you shouldn’t be scared of someone just because they wanted fruits."
"He’s a known nobleman in the main city." Mrs. Tani retorted back, picking up the teacup from the table and taking a sip, hoping that it would calm her nerves down, "He asked me to specifically bring him a kilo of kiwis, grapes, and oranges in Yolo Village by the end of the week."
